‘മോദിക്കെതിരെ നടപടിയെടുക്കണം’ 93 മുൻ സിവിൽ സർവീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷന് കത്തയച്ചു

ന്യൂഡൽഹി: വിദ്വേഷ പ്രസംഗം നടത്തിയ പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി മോദിക്കെതിരെ നടപടിയെടുക്കണമെന്നാവശ്യപ്പെട്ട് സിവിൽ സർവീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരായിരുന്ന 93 പേർ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷന് കത്തയച്ചു. അഹമ്മദാബാദ് ഐഐഎമ്മിൽ പ്രൊഫസറായിരുന്ന ജഗദീപ് ചോക്കർ എഴുതിയ കത്തിനെ പിന്തുണച്ചാണ് തൊണ്ണൂറ്റിമൂന്ന് മുൻ സിവിൽ ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥർ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷന് കത്തയച്ചത്.

മുസ് ലിംകൾക്കെതിരായ വിദ്വേഷം നിറഞ്ഞ പരാമർശങ്ങളായിരുന്നു മോദിയുടെ രാജസ്ഥാൻ പ്രസംഗത്തിലുണ്ടായിരുന്നത്. വർഗിയ- വിദ്വേഷ പ്രസംഗത്തിനെതിരെ 2200 ലധികം പരാതികൾ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമീഷന് ലഭിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് പുറത്തുവന്ന റിപ്പോർട്ടുകളിലുള്ളത്.

പെരുമാറ്റച്ചട്ടം, ജനപ്രാതിനിധ്യ നിയമം, ഇന്ത്യൻ ശിക്ഷാനിയമം എന്നിവ മോദി ലംഘിച്ചുവെന്നാണ് കത്തിലുള്ളത്. മുഖ്യ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷണർ രാജീവ് കുമാർ, തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷണർമാരായ ജ്ഞാനേഷ് കുമാർ​, ഡോ. എസ്.എസ് സന്ധു എന്നിവർക്കാണ് കത്തയച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത്.

‘കേന്ദ്ര-സംസ്ഥാന സർക്കാരുകളിൽ വിവിധ പദവികളിൽ സേവനമനുഷ്ഠിച്ച മുൻ സിവിൽ സർവീസ് ഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥരുടെ ഒരു കൂട്ടമാണ് ഞങ്ങൾ. ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു രാഷ്ട്രീയ പാർട്ടിയുമായും ബന്ധമില്ല, പക്ഷെ ഇന്ത്യൻ ഭരണഘടന വിഭാവനം ചെയ്യുന്ന ആശയങ്ങളോട് ഞങ്ങൾ പ്രതിജ്ഞാബദ്ധരാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞാണ് കത്ത് തുടങ്ങുന്നത്.

2024 ഏപ്രിൽ 21-ന് പ്രധാനമന്ത്രി നടത്തിയ വർഗീയ പ്രസംഗത്തിൽ ഇന്ത്യൻ തെരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് കമ്മീഷൻ ഉചിതമായ നടപടി സ്വീകരിക്കുമെന്ന് പ്രതീക്ഷിക്കുന്നു​വെന്നും കത്തിലുണ്ട്.
